Look what I did
So by popular demand here are some pics from the last month or so of being home.First off, some old haunts of mine from well over 7 years ago. Verona my old fave cafe...& still pretty darn cool for people watching (but the one around the corner in St Kevin’s Arcade has better natural views The Thirsty Dog...I’d hate to think how much money I’ve spent there. Margaritas...You could get some great rump steak there but the sausages were very dodgy at times. This is to help people visualise the “I fell off Albert Park” story...didn’t break any bones...natural athlete. Here’s a view of Auck from Mt Wellington...Welcome to the burbs!
Well that’s Auckland...All 1.3 mill of it. So I headed off to the big smoke of Thames to make sure my bro got married, catch up with family, kill a tree...oh and Xmas.
Complete with native bush & birds…It’s pretty cool at sunset as well.
Not the main reason I came home...but pretty high on the list.
We went for a road trip to visit my nieces & nephew.
Righteous Rod Rides Again!!! To be honest I don’t know which of the 3 look like they want to be there less.
The Angry Dragon...Tauranga style. Mum, Dad, Kel & I in the Waihi mine.
On the way home stopped in at the old farm...Now THAT is what I call a backyard!
While home I decided to try to get fit by playing tag with the kids & helping Dad kill a tree, one worked quite well one didn’t
Now the main reason for me coming home early. To welcome Olivia to the Whanau & make sure Murray went through with it.
Kel & I were on security detail...We were later informed it was more of a usher kind of role...but that was after we had not let Uncle Pete in because he was wearing the wrong shoes...Sorry Uncle Pete but next time don’t wear flip-flops to a wedding!
My brother can dance!!!
